Special Events at Exchange 2007

Each year Exchange offers special events and activities outside of the core technical session and workshop programs. Activities that are designed to help attendees connect, strengthen the global community, foster successful business interchange and simply to have fun. Main events at Exchange in Phoenix included:

Expo 2007

Representatives from Progress Software and some of the leading partners from the Progress community showcased the technology innovations and service offerings. A change in format bringing the Expo directly outside of the session rooms offered more time for all to experience the newest advancements, test-drive the latest tools, see demos and meet with the experts. Networking Events

• Welcome Reception & Poster Fair—A full house at the welcome reception/poster fair on Sunday evening was a great kickoff to the week ahead. Over 20 posters were manned by Progress product experts and covered a range of topics such as Sonic tuning tips, adding Business Activity Monitoring to your OpenEdge application, upcoming OpenEdge advanced User Interface tools and more. It was a fun stage setting event where attendees could renew old friendships and make new ones.
• Evening Event "La Puesta Del Sol"—The weather was perfect and the scenery was breathtaking…all this along with fabulous food and terrific entertainment made the party a night to remember. Everyone enjoyed the line dancing and cowboy games while the trick roper performance was incredible. There were gun fights and old time photos to round out the evening before everyone headed over to enjoy an authentic western rodeo.

Partner Exchange 2007

Formerly the Global Business Form, the Partner Exchange 2007 was the largest yet with more than 120 invited participants—CEOs and founders of top Progress Partner organizations. Back for the fifth year in a row this exclusive event offers collaboration, networking and sharing of ideas with both Progress experts and an executive peer group. Under the theme of Partnering in the New Market, the program was rich in content, advice and opinions from experts in many fields and featured examples of organizations using business innovation to expand their market, change business models or leverage new technologies.

CIO Exchange 2007

This small, intimately-sized forum offered top CIO attendees the chance to collaborate with their peers and Progress executives while exploring the unique challenges and needs faced by CIOs today. Learn more.
