
Tony Aquilina is the senior vice president of strategy and corporate development for Progress Software. In this capacity, Aquilina is responsible for managing the Company's strategic planning process and for identifying and executing investments and acquisitions in support of Progress strategic goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Progress, Aquilina spent almost seven years at Autodesk, where he oversaw the company’s M&A program and pipeline, working with business teams to execute partnership, investment and acquisition transactions in conjunction with divisional and corporate strategy. He also has experience in investment banking, raising private equity capital for and providing merger & acquisition advisory services to early-stage and publicly-held technology companies, and in software engineering, beginning his career at Hewlett-Packard.
Aquilina earned his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the Boalt Hall School of Law and the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and he received a B.S.E. degree in Computer Science from Princeton University.
