Stephen Faberman
Stephen Faberman is Vice President, General Counsel at Progress Software. In this role, he manages Progress Software’s Legal Department, which is responsible for all company legal matters, including corporate and board governance, licensing, employment, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and litigation. He also serves as Progress Software’s Chief Compliance Officer.
Prior to joining Progress Software, Faberman was Vice President, Corporate Counsel at Heritage Property Investment Trust, Inc., a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Faberman managed an in-house legal department responsible for providing corporate and real estate acquisition, disposition, joint venture, development, property management, leasing, litigation and general real estate services. Faberman was also a partner at Bingham McCutchen, a national law firm, where he specialized in advising public and private companies in corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions.
Faberman earned his J.D. degree from Boston College Law School and he received a B.A. degree in History from Tufts University.
