Dan Hubscher leads Capital Markets for Progress Software. To maintain the company’s leading position in this industry, he defines and oversees the marketing strategies for market-specific solutions in Algorithmic Trading, FX eCommerce, Market Surveillance and Monitoring and more, and leads market research into new propositions for this market.  

Dan has focused on bringing cutting-edge solutions to the Capital Markets for more than ten years. Prior to joining Progress, Dan was employed by BT Radianz, a global financial extranet.  During his time there, Dan led sales, marketing, and development efforts for solutions in emerging areas of high speed electronic trading, including low latency network connectivity, automated latency decision support for algorithmic trading, and hosted Direct Market Access services.

Dan joined Progress in 2008, at the onset of the global financial crisis. As the Capital Markets entered a new era of rapid change, Dan has become a recognized industry thought leader.  Dan is a frequent speaker, market commentator via published articles, industry forums and blogs, and is quoted extensively in print, online, and video media.

Dan is a dual-degree graduate, cum laude, of the University of Pennsylvania.
