Important Support Services Update for Savvion Customers

Welcome to Progress Software Support Services

We are pleased to inform you that as a result of the Progress Software acquisition of Savvion, there are some exciting enhancements to your services that will ensure our ability to meet your evolving technology needs. Some of these enhancements are listed below and will begin around February 22, 2010.

Product Order Downloads

Since the Savvion Download page is no longer accessible, you will be directed to contact the Progress Sales Support team, who will assist with your migration to the Progress Download Center.

 

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Contact Progress Sales Support and include your product line in the correspondence. Your account information will be added into the Progress Order Entry system so that your products will be made available to you in the Progress Download Center.
  2. When your information has been transferred and software is available for download, you will receive an email containing a URL to the Progress Download Center.
  3. The first time you access the Download Center, a form populated with the name and email address you provided to customer service will appear. Fill in the additional fields, choose your personal login and password and submit the form. Once the form is submitted you will have access to download your Savvion products, service packs, and any updates you order through Customer Service.

Progress Download Center Benefits

The Download Center gives you 24x7 access to your software, updates and license keys. The Center offerings are personalized to your organization, displaying only the software updates and documentation for the products you have licensed. Other benefits include:

  • No need for back-up physical media
  • Self-service creation of additional members on your account
  • Depending upon the product, updates may automatically be placed on your account
  • As soon as the order is processed, your product is immediately available on the Download Center
