VanMeijel integrates Progress OpenEdge BPM with Metacom application

Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS), a leading software provider that enables enterprises to be operationally responsive, today announced that application partner and construction industry specialist, VanMeijel, has integrated Progress® OpenEdge® BPM technology into its Metacom application. Metacom is an integrated business information system designed to support all major construction processes, including other business functions such as payroll.
Recognising the increasing demand for applications focussed entirely on supporting business processes in a rapidly changing environment, VanMeijel added Progress OpenEdge BPM to its Metacom application to enable rapid processes modification and to better meet the needs of its customers. With the out-of-the-box integration of Progress Software’s solution, Metacom has been transformed into a comprehensive business process application that enables customers to be more agile and to quickly re-engineer business processes in a cost-effective way.
