Progress Software’s Actional 8.2 Business Transaction Monitoring Management Solution Achieves SAP Certification as Powered by SAP NetWeaver®

Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS), a leading software provider that enables enterprises to be operationally responsive, today announced its Progress® Actional® 8.2 business transaction monitoring and management solution has achieved SAP certification as powered by the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform. The solution has been proven to integrate with SAP® solutions, providing insight into and between both Java and ABAP™ programming language-based applications and their interactions within heterogeneous environments.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Progress Actional 8.2’s add-on component for ABAP integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Application Server 7.0. The add-on component provides visibility into transactions that span heterogeneous environments, Java and ABAP-based applications so IT departments can quickly and easily target issues occurring either outside or within Java or ABAP-based applications, allowing issued to be fixed quickly.
