Progress Software is Enterprise Choice at Comms National Awards
Vendor wins prestigious channel award for its SaaS platform - OpenEdge

Progress Software is pleased to announce that it has won ‘Enterprise Product of the Year’ at the Comms National Awards, 2009.
The awards took place at the Park Lane Hilton in London, on Thursday, 1 October, 2009. The judges were looking for excellence in overall solutions, and specifically recognised product innovation and design that exceeds expectations in meeting the requirements of the channel and end users in its target market.
Progress Software won the award despite stiff competition from Juniper Network, Tri-Line and Union Street.
The company’s OpenEdge product, which is a leading SaaS Platform for enabling application development, management, integration and deployment in the cloud, was picked as it has the formula for successful SaaS enablement and a comprehensive set of programmes to increase profitability. It is also a highly efficient development platform, combined with deployment flexibility, remarkable scalability and built-in integration and management capabilities.
The award celebrates the hundreds of partners delivering SaaS and on-demand services today using the OpenEdge SaaS Platform, which deploys more than 600 SaaS applications in 22 countries around the world.
