Course Description

This course teaches experienced 4GL developers and database administrators how to implement the new auditing capabilities of OpenEdge 10.1 in order to comply with government regulations and satisfy business auditing needs.

You will learn how to plan for an OpenEdge auditing implementation, grant audit privileges to authorized users, define and configure audit policies to govern database, application, and internal events, and deploy the policies in the production environment. You will also learn how to manage, query, and report on audit data.

After taking this course, you will be able to create and maintain an auditing infrastructure that can answer questions about who did what, when, where, and how to your applications and their data.
