Course Description
This course is for experienced 4GL developers who are moving to the new OpenEdge Architect development environment. OpenEdge Architect provides a project-based development environment that enhances OpenEdge developer productivity by providing various capabilities that assist with the coding, debugging, testing, and maintenance of applications.
This course will examine the functionality of OpenEdge Architect and how that functionality can increase your efficiency and strengthen your coding methods. You will be shown the functionality of the new Catalog, Database Navigator, Resource Viewer, and Debugger tools as well as the new editor functionality–all from within the project-based development environment. Techniques will also be shown for integrating AppBuilder Applications with the new OpenEdge Architect.
