New Features
This release of EdgeXtend includes the following new features:
- Database Explorer: included with the Workbench Tools in both the Professional and Enterprise editions, supports connecting to a database, browsing schemas, and importing schema elements into a Persistence project to further increase developer productivity.
- Monitoring APIs: support creation of routines to monitor runtime execution in the Enterprise edition, simplifying tuning. These APIs are documented in the Reference Guide.
- Auto-configuring synchronization: for TCP messaging in the Enterprise edition, allows clustered servers to find each other on a local network, simplifying deployment.
- MySQL®: supports this popular database in both the Professional and Enterprise editions, providing more options for deployment.
