Bulk operations

Overview

On Images page, when you select more than one image, the Bulk actions dropdown appears in the toolbar.

You also see an indication of how many images are selected and an option to Select all or Clear all.

Workflow operations

When you select more than one image and click Bulk actions, you can perform the following bulk operations:

  • Publish
  • Unpublish
  • Schedule publish/unpublish

Change image properties

To edit image properties of more than one image at the same time, perform the following:

  1. Select two or more images.
  2. In the toolbar, click Bulk actions » Image properties (bulk).
  3. For each of the images, you can change the following:
    • The Title of the image
    • The Alternative text of the image
      The text that you enter in the input field is used for accessibility reasons and by search engines.
    • The Description of the image
      The description you enter in the input field appears as a tooltip for the video in browsers that support ToolTips feature.
  4. Save your changes.

Assign tags and categories

To assign or delete the same tags or categories to more than one image, perform the following:

  1. Select two or more images.
  2. In the toolbar, click Bulk actions » Assign tags and categories.
  3. Under Tags, click Add (Select tags).
    Perform one of the following:
    • Enter a tag and press ENTER.
    • Start typing and click Show all tags.
      Select all tags that you want to assign to all selected images and click Use selected.
  4. Under Category, click Add (Select categories).
    Perform one of the following:
    • Select one of the recently used categories.
    • Click Create a category.
      1. Enter the name of the category.
      2. Under Put this category…, select its parent category.
      3. Click Create this category.
    • Start typing and click Show all categories, select the desired categories, and click Use selected.
  5. Save your changes.
