Deploy Sitefinity CMS from Azure Marketplace

Overview

The Azure Marketplace is an online applications and services marketplace that enables independent software vendors (ISVs) to offer their solutions to Azure customers around the world.

The Azure Marketplace combines Microsoft Azure partner ecosystems into a single, unified platform to better serve customers and partners. This improves existing experiences and make it easier to search, purchase, and deploy a wide range of applications and services.

The apps are deployed into Azure App Service, which is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud solution. Initially, you get a pre-set state of Sitefinity CMS and continue to develop it from there according to your needs. The vendor defines the initial state and resources. For example, the number of database and web server instances to be provisioned.

With Azure App Service, the resources you use are determined by your App Service plan that you run your Web Apps on.
