Format text

Using the Text Editor, you can change the font and the size of the text, make text bold or italic, and superscript and subscript text. You can also change the color of the text and apply background color.

To do this you use the following toolbar functions, which are displayed as buttons in the toolbar of the text editor:

Bold (CTRL+B)

Use this button to apply bold formatting to the text.

  1. Select the text which you want to make bold or place the cursor inside a word.
  2. Click Bold button.
The system makes the selected text bold.

Italic (CTRL+I)

Use this button to apply italic formatting to the text.

  • Select the text which you want to make italic or place the cursor inside a word.
  • Click Italic button.
The system makes the selected text italic.

NOTE: The above toolbar functions are displayed in the toolbar of the text editor in basic mode. If you need more formatting functions, click More formatting options button in the upper-right corner of the editor.
