Precompilation log

Compilation of pages or controls can be a time consuming operation. This can decrease site performance.

To identify problematic pages or controls, you can use precompilation logging, which is disabled by default.

To turn on precompilation logging, perform the following:

  1. Navigate to Administration » Settings » Advanced.
  2. In the left pane, expand Pages and click Compilation.
  3. Select Log compilation.
  4. Save your changes.

RESULT: When a page or control is added or changed, it is compiled and the information about the compilation process is logged in the Trace.log file.
