Translate MVC widgets

To make an MVC widget translatable, perform the following: 

  1. Click Administration » Settings » Advanced » Translations » Strategies.
  2. Click Create new » MvcControlTypeTranlsationsSettings.
  3. In ItemType input field, enter the fully qualified name of the Mvc controller.
    For example, enter SitefinityWebApp.Mvc.Controllers.MyWidget1Controller
  4. Click Save changes
  5. Configure which fields you want to translate, using procedure Translations module settings » Translatable fields.
    In property mappings, add the string property from the MVC controller. For example, enter Message.
