Create values for a product attribute

  1. On Attributes page click the attribute for which you want to create values.            
  2. Click Create a value.
    The Create a value page appears.
  3. In Value, enter the unique for this instance of the attribute.
    For example, for attribute size, you might enter S.
  4. If you want a description for the value, click Description and enter a description using the text editor. For more information about working with the text editor, see Text editor.
  5. To make the value selectable, chose the This value is active checkbox.
  6. In the Advanced section, you can change the automatically generated name for developers by clicking Change and entering the new name in the input field that appears.
    This is the name of the value that is used by developers to refer to it in the code.
  7. Click Create a value.
