Progress® DataXtend™ Semantic Integrator (SI) provides key support for building robust semantic integrations that gain the value of the SID as a common data model to promote speed, agility, reuse, and data quality in data integration projects for operational and business support systems (OSS/BSS). The SID is, however, a large, complex model and working with it can be challenging. And though it is a comprehensive model, you will still need to modify, extend, and update it as you integrate your applications.
