Progress DataXtend SI Engine
Progress® DataXtend® SI Engine is the runtime component of the DataXtend SI architecture. At runtime, data is dynamically converted and validated before it is submitted to backend systems.
With the click of a mouse, the engines and the deployment artifacts are generated and deployed into your distributed SOA. At runtime, the engines convert and validate data before it is submitted to the connected applications and services. The distributed deployment approach improves performance and scalability relative to hub-and-spoke architecture. All data services use standard interfaces for incorporation into any business process or target application.
