Progress Software NV is introducing a company-wide training subscription scheme for our partners and end customers. This provides those of your staff who work with Progress and/or Sonic technology with a full year of training.
Why training?
It has become increasingly clear in recent years that the success of a business – and of an ICT business, in particular – is heavily dependent upon the knowledge and skills of the people who work for it.
With the introduction of new product versions and the technological features they bring with them, the training of your workforce is becoming more and more important. Your software can be deployed more efficiently than is currently the case, bugs in your application can be eliminated and development can be made up six times faster.
Progress acknowledges this need and we are keen to help you and your staff with the necessary training in technological know-how. In so doing, we realize how important it is that staff absence for training purposes does not harm your day-to-day operations. The Progress Education Developer Card (EDC) solves that problem in return for a minimal investment.
Education Developer Card (EDC)
The EDC enables your organisation to train all it's staff in Progress and Sonic technology. It is valid for a period of one year, BUT is obtainable only if ALL your technical personnel are registered. During that year, they can benefit from all our training opportunities in the following ways.
In this way you are free to decide when, where and how your staff are trained, and what courses they take. For a complete list of our web-based courses, see http://wbt.progress.com/home.
Investment
Your annual investment in the EDC is €1800 per employee. Remember that this fee gives that person a full year of unlimited training opportunities, when and where they want. Not only does this subscription-style arrangement save you money, it also helps to overcome many of the problems associated with the scheduling of training programmes.
Our certification number is DV.O102965, valid from 19 July 2006 to 17 December 2008. For information about this scheme, visit www.beaweb.be.
