Progress Software has been established in the Asia Pacific region for more than 10 years. It has around 100 employees and is represented in 15 countries across the region. In Asia, we have 4 offices. Progress products and services are sold through a direct field sales force and also through a network of Application Partners (APs). Progress APs use Progress technology to develop and deploy commercial applications to industry and government.
The Progress Singapore office is the South Asia regional office, serving customers and APs in Singapore. Our products are also marketed by a network of distributors in: India, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malaysia.
The Progress Hong Kong office is the North Asia regional office, serving customers and APs in Hong Kong and China. It also provides support to customers, partners and distributors in Taiwan and Korea.
Progress' products are used primarily by Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Application Service Providers (ASPs). Our partners' solutions span from the following application areas: Automobile, Call Centre/Help Desk Management Systems, Construction Management Systems, Courier Services, Customer Service Management, ERP (Manufacturing), Freight and Forwarding, Health Care, Hotel Systems, Insurance, Legal Systems, Property Management Systems, Shop Floor Moulding Systems, Supply Chain Systems, Treasury Management Systems and Warehousing. We are currently expanding upon our network of ISVs and ASPs across the region.
Progress Software India (PSI) is the largest Progress development center outside the US. PSI builds many of the products/components in the progress products portfolio. PSI is uniquely placed in that it is a group with a cross-product mandate leveraging the multiple products being worked on by a single integrated group.
