Empowerment Services

Progress Apama's professional services organization has deep subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of Apama projects. Apama Empowerment Services include product training, advanced workshops, architecture support, detailed design reviews, deployment and configuration, and general technical project oversight.

Empowerment Services are offered to:

  1. Architects: Help architect and design Apama solutions, exploiting established best practices.

  2. Developers: Help implement robust, performant, and agile code artifacts that interact with the Apama platform using known best practices.

  3. Line of Business: Help understand how to model and parameterize event processing rules to create a highly effective and agile Apama applications.

  4. Operations: Help operations deploy, manage, and monitor the Apama software in a production environment.

First Customer Project Services

Progress Apama's professional services can help jump-start deployments by offering architecture, implementation, and deployment expertise through the first phase of a customer's project. Typical first phase projects range between 6 weeks and 3 months, depending upon the number of integration points and the number of rules that comprise the Apama application.

In addition to the standard Empowerment Services described above, Apama offers:

  1. Adapter Implementation: Implementation of adapters to a variety of systems and interfaces through the Apama Integrated Adapter Framework (IAF).

  2. Event Modeler Rule Processing Implementation: Design, implementation, and parameterization of Apama "strategies" that are designed to be configured at run-time by business users.

  3. SmartBlocks Implementation: Design, implementation, parameterization of the Apama SmartBlocks that allow business users to assemble the building blocks into Apama strategies based on specific business logic.
