Progress® Apama® Dashboard Studio provides a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, environment for creating richly-graphical dashboards to monitor Apama scenarios.

Apama dashboards provide an up-to-the-instant visualization of the key metrics that drive event-driven operations and are central to Apama's ability to deliver sophisticated Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) capabilities. With Apama's dashboards, real-time events and their changes are instantly accessible to users in an intuitive manner, thus providing true operational intelligence for operations that require real-time monitoring and action.

As an example, traders in capital markets use Apama dashboards to monitor increasingly complex trading strategies, with a real-time view that enables them to respond quickly to changing market conditions. Likewise many other event driven applications (telecommunications, military, supply chain, etc.) can benefit from real time visibility into operations - operations that spawn events that are monitored by Apama, correlated within its event processing engine - and rendered in its dashboards (within milliseconds). Progress Apama Dashboard Studio, the dashboard creation tool, offers a complete design and deployment environment. With a wide range of visual objects and drag & drop development, Dashboard Studio provides all the tools needed to create highly customized dashboards from which users can start/stop, parameterize and monitor trading and other Apama scenarios.

Dashboard Studio offers an extensive array of graphical widgets with which to build custom user dashboards. Meters, gauges, tables, graphs, and scales are all available via a wizard-driven tool for template-based interfaces or a sophisticated "designer" for highly customized dashboards. Users can further personalize the interface through addition/deletion of panels or modification of graphics and color schemes.
